In His Perfect Time

We prayed and we hoped… God said, “Yes, but not now.” Then I asked again “But when my God?”. He said “In perfect time my child.” I said “We could have been so happy Lord.” He said “You will be.. in perfect time.” My husband and I have been so excited to become parents that we did our best to become pregnant. Even our parents and relatives have been excited for us as well. When my husband went back abroad, we were hoping and praying that we have succeeded – that we will become parents soon. I treated myself as being pregnant. Ate right, slept right and avoided any physical activity that may cause of me not getting pregnant. However, much to my dismay, my monthly period arrived on the dot as usual. I was quite disappointed. It could have been perfect if I was pregnant… But I never lose hope. God has greater plans for us… in His perfect time. ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11
